Originally constructed in 1888, Casa Bomberos served as Tampa Fire Station #2 until 1924 and is the oldest extant original firehouse in the city. Created by both Matthew & Danielle McKinnon, Sky Puppy Brewing lives inside Casa Bomberos. The 2,000 square foot brewery is conveniently located on the bottom floor of Casa Bomberos, on E 8th Ave just one block from the districts main strip at Trolley Stop #4.

At Sky Puppy Brewing, Brewer Matthew McKinnon balances his classical training and avant-garde practices in a thoughtful reimagining of beer. Enjoy thirteen different styles infused with new seasonal approaches.

Nestled within Sky Puppy Brewing in Casa Bomberos, is original brick walls with details of generational layers, the bar serves signature brews & the walls are layered in local artists. Intimate, inviting, and sumptuously designed, the brewery tasting room seats 40 while the Bar is tucked away in a secluded alcove and seats only five guests at a time.
